Cleaning up around my apt, I ran across my grocery bill from last week and started thinking about when Amelia and I were at the grocery store and she freaked out because the bill was like $187 and I said not to worry, most of that is just food I'm buying, not food for the dinner party (keep in mind I hadn't been grocery shopping in 2 months). So out of boredom I just calculated about what I spent specifically on the dinner party and it was just about $43 (other people provided the wine). I fed (at different times) people about 15 meals from that dinner. Even at a fast food restaurant, what would it cost to provide 15 full, two course, nutritious meals? As Natasha would say, that's just $2.87 per meal.
I really have no excuse not to go grocery shopping every couple of days to pick various things up, my schedule is not exactly jam-packed. That way, I won't have to wait around to schedule someone with a car to help me. Also, at that point when I do decide to order a pizza or go eat sushi somewhere, it will be a really nice treat. Instead of me just trying to figure out what take-out I am least sick of. I think maybe after Ladytr0n I will take a couple of days and do a really indulgent fast - start out with fresh juices all one day and ease back in with fresh juices.
