as of today 68 hours at $1601 take home minus $205 in initial expenses averages to $20.53/hour. last night i had a shitty night, though. i really just didn't want to be there so i didn't try to get dances for the first hour or two, until i went on stage. and my regular didn't come in. which is probably better for his self esteem, although i wanted to explain to him that i couldn't go out with him sometime because i had a boyfriend. saying boyfriend is what i am going to say from now on, i don't need to say any shit about a husband unless it is necessary. who i am there is a lie, who they are there is a dollar bill.
some girls last night were paying out like $300 dollars, which means they are taking home at least $600. i want to get nights like that, goddammit. my competitive nature can't hack these girls making like 3 times what i am. i am no less pretty or sexy than they are, it's just luck and the game and having regulars. well i guess i have actually only danced for nine days. so maybe i am doing well for a beginner.
